Video and Audio Coverage
A video conference and telepresence base station will connect the cameras and monitors. This piece of equipment has an on board CPU that processes the voice and video streams, transferring information to and from everyone in a conference. Typically they come with remote controls, so that features can be activated while sitting at a table. Units have connections which include HDMI video, audio output, and microphone input.
Microphones will pick up the voices of conference members, allowing them to be heard clearly. Noise filtering software removes static and non-spoken background sounds.
